Wall of Prejudice

Every Fall semester, our brotherhood puts on an Elimination of Prejudce Week. During this week, we actively support our Philanthropy, The Elimination of Prejudice by constructing the Wall of Prejudice. This wall stays up on College Ave the entire week, and students have the opportunity to write down a prejudice term or phrase they have encountered. The goal is to raise awareness of how such hateful speech is still present in society. The goal at the end of the week is to knock down this wall to promote more peace and understanding between all groups. Throughout the week we have daily panel sessions aimed to discuss important topics such as; Race and Culture, Mental Health Stigmas, LGBTQ+, and Religion. The panels are comprised both of student and community leaders as well as campus officials that help students understand the topics more deeply.
